I think that Volvo's 850s still look great after all these years, a really elegant, timeless and also polarizing appearance. For many of us, the 850 was the last 'real' Volvo.

I can still remember exactly when the first Volvo flyers were on the table in the early 90s, where you could admire the new 850. My first reaction was: looks really chic, I would like to have it, and that as an absolutely die-hard Opel driver at this time.

In 1993 I actually owned my first 850 GLT and since then I have driven a lot of Volvos until today ...

Over the years I had said 850 GLT, then a 740 TIC, a 745 B230FB, a 940T, a 945T+, an 855 TDI, a V70 P26 and now again an absolutely rust-free Japan reimport 855 GLT with 78,000km, which will be our summer vehicle.
